How to Order Already Cropped Images
Posted on May 8, 2024
If your images are already cropped to the size you want, use the Batch Order workflow to order them in the SOS. This is useful if you have a large number of images that you want to order at once.
Batch Order Workflow Tips
- You can load thousands of images as once using the batch order workflow, but if you have more than 2000 images you may want to break them up into smaller groups.
- Keep in mind that if you order thousands of images at once, it may take quite a while for the images to upload.
- If you are ordering lots of images, ideally you should separate out all the images you want to order into their own folder on your computer. This will make it easier to find the images you want to order. It will also make it easier to recover the order if there is an error.
- You can do the batch order step multiple times within an order, so if you have 3 folders of images to order you can do them one at a time and when in the cart choose the Continue Ordering button on the top right or click the Home button.
- Batch ordering is not available for all products. You cannot batch order products that contain text, have multiple image nodes or are part of a layout like 8 wallets or a 5x7 and 4 wallets.
- Some catalogs (Units and Package Prints) may require you to review the cropping on each image after you add them to the cart. This is due to the composites that are in the catalog - like 8 wallets or a 5x7 and 4 wallets. Those items need to have the cropping set in the SOS before you can checkout.
